SOY GARLIC NOODLES

Ingredients

Noodles:

  • 14 oz rice noodles

  • 5 Tbsp ghee or oil

  • 12 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 green onions, chopped

    Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tsp sesame oil
    1/4 cup eel sauce (or oyster sauce)

  • 2 Tbsp water mixed with 1 Tbsp of cornstarch

 

Directions

Step 1

To make the sauce, in a saucepan add water, soy sauce, sesame seed oil, eel (or oyster) sauce, cornstarch and water mixture (slurry). Cook over medium high heat for about 5 minutes.

Step 2

Cook rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain when done.

Step 3

In a wok melt butter on medium high heat, add garlic and green onion. Stir until fully mixed. Add cooked noodles, then pour sauce over and toss until fully coated, then Enjoy!
