HEALTHY HIBACHI Apr 20 Written By Eleanor Debel https://www.youtube.com/shorts/4NT_YkFfgwgPrintHEALTHY HIBACHIYield 4Prep time15 MinCook time13 MinTotal time28 MinIngredients1 yellow onion, cut into ½ inch pieces 1 zucchini, cut into ½ inch half moons1 yellow squash, cut into ½ inch half moons½ lb large shrimp ½ lb lean steak (such as tenderloin, sirloin or flank) High heat cooking spray Salt, pepper and garlic seasoning blend 1 tsp minced garlic Soy Sauce Thai BBQ sauce (I used Kinder brand) 1 Package stir fry noodles, such as udon or yakisoba Low Calorie Yum Yum sauce:¼ cup ketchup ⅓ cup low fat mayonnaise 1 tsp rice wine vinegar¼ tsp paprika¼ tsp garlic powder ¼ tsp salt¼ tsp black pepper 1 tsp water InstructionsHeat a large wok or non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and spray liberally with cooking spray. Once hot, add the zucchini squash and onion and season with about a quarter teaspoon of the salt pepper garlic seasoning and a splash of soy sauce (about 1 tsp).Cook, stirring constantly, until the vegetables begin to soften and brown, about 4 minutes.Remove the vegetables to a tray, then return your pan to the heat.Add the shrimp and season lightly with salt pepper garlic. Cook the shrimp for 1 minute per side, once flipped, add the soy sauce and cook just until the sauce has absorbed into the shrimp, about 30 seconds.Remove the shrimp to the platter with the vegetables, then return the pan to the Heat and spray once more with oil. add the steak in an even layer and season with salt pepper garlic. let cook undisturbed for about a minute before flipping each piece. Brown on each side for about a minute then add a drizzle of Thai BBQ sauce and the minced garlic in the last minute of cooking. Stir until nice and sauce and the garlic is fragrant then remove the steak to the tray and set aside. To make the sauce: whisk together the ketchup, low fat mayonnaise, rice wine vinegar, paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper and water. Taste and adjust seasoning.
