STRAWBERRY ICED MATCHA Apr 9 Written By Eleanor Debel https://www.youtube.com/shorts/oxyqF74SHZUPrintSTRAWBERRY MATCHA LATTEYield 1Prep time15 MinTotal time15 MinIngredients2 tsp matcha powder1 cup warm water (about 175 F, boil water then let it cool for at least 5 min) 1 Tbsp strawberry puree (see recipe below) 1 tsp strawberry syrup (see recipe below) ¼ cup milk of choice Strawberry Puree:1 cup freeze dried strawberries ½ cup water Strawberry Syrup:1 cup chopped strawberries ½ cup water 1 tsp sugar InstructionsTo make the strawberry puree: soak the freeze-dried strawberries in the half cup of water for at least 30 minutes. Once soft, add to a blender and blend until smooth. transfer to a container and store in the fridge until ready to use. to make the strawberry syrup: in a small pot combine the chopped strawberries water and sugar. Bring to a simmer and let cook for about 10 minutes.Remove from the Heat and pour through a fine mesh strainer. Let cool and reserve the syrup in the fridge and discard the solids. to make the matcha: add the matcha powder to a heat proof Bowl, add the warm water and whisk to combine until all the powder is dissolved. To a large glass add the 1 Tbsp of strawberry puree, then the strawberry syrup, fill the glass with ice then pour in the milk and the matcha. Stir to combine and serve.
