Add oil, then chopped onions and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring every so often. Once the onions are deeply browned they are done.Place ground beef in the same large pan, season, then cook for 7 to 10 minutes on medium high heat. Next, add cheese, continue to stir until cheese has melted. Stir in vegetable broth. Continue to cook for 1 minute more. To make the sauce, mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, mustard and hot sauce until fully combined.For the French fries, you can make homemade or use frozen french fries. I use frozen because it's easier.
