Add to the chicken and toss to coat in seasoning.In a large bowl combine the flour, potato or corn starch, garlic powder, paprika, chili powder and salt.Add the wings into the dry flour mixture and toss until fully coated.Place coated wings in a single layer in the air fryer.Air Fry wings for 15 minutes, then flip all the wings and air fry for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until you reach desired browning.Make the sauce: Combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic cloves and ginger in a small saucepan. Set over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and let simmer and reduce for 5-10 minutes until it becomes a thick, sticky sauce. (pro tip: reducing longer will create a stickier sauce). Remove the garlic and ginger and discard.Toss the cooked wings in the soy sauce glaze and dried red pepper flakes till evenly coated.
