GARLIC CHILI NOODLES
Ingredients
8 oz noodles of choice
1 lb shrimp
1 tsp gochugaru or cayenne pepper
1 tsp salt
Sauce:
2 Tbsp butter
6 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp gochugaru or cayenne
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 Tbsp sesame seed oil
1/4 cup honey
2 Tbsp sriracha
2 Tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp msg
1/2 cup noodle water
sesame seeds and green onions to garnish
Directions
Step 1
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook noodles according to package instructions. Once done, reserve 1/4 cup of the water, then drain noodles.
Step 2
Preheat a wok on high heat. Add oil to the coat pan, then add shrimp, gochugaru (or cayenne pepper), salt and cook for about 2 minutes, constantly stirring. Remove from wok.
Step 3
In the same wok add butter, garlic, gochugaru (or cayenne pepper). Cook for about 1 to 2 minutes, or until garlic becomes fragrant. Then add soy sauce, sesame seed oil, honey, sriracha, oyster sauce, msg, and noodle water. Stir to combine. Add cooked noodles to the sauce and toss until fully coated. Then add the shrimp. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Enjoy!
