Place the flour in a shallow bowl, then the eggs and water in another shallow bowl and beat until combined. Place the panko breadcrumbs into a third shallow bowl and you now have your breading station set up.To bread the mozzarella sticks: first place the cheese into the flour and turn to coat then shake off excess flour, then place the cheese into the egg mixture and coat, then place it back into the flour and then back into the egg and finally, into the panko, patting the coating so it really sticks to the cheese. Repeat this process with all the cheese sticks.Freeze the coated mozzarella for at least 15 minutes to ensure they don’t explode in the fryer.Fry in the preheated oil until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Repeat with all the cheese sticks.Add all the spices for the Nashville hot seasoning into a heatproof bowl and pour in the hot oil from the fryer. Stir to combine, then dip each fried cheese stick into the seasoned oil and toss to coat.Serve your Nashville hot mozzarella sticks with sriracha mayo and extra seasoned oil on the side.Did you make this recipe?Tag @thegoldenbalance on instagram and hashtag it #thegoldenbalance friedeasy Eleanor Debel
