LOADED TACO FRIES Mar 3 Written By Eleanor Debel https://www.youtube.com/shorts/2EN42XNNeocPrintLOADED TACO FRIES Yield 4Prep time15 MinCook time10 MinTotal time25 Min Ingredients 1 lb ground beef ½ white onion, minced 2 Tbsp minced garlic 1 taco seasoning packet ⅓ cup water 1 bag (about 1 lb) frozen french friesFor the Topping:Pico de Gallo Your favorite taco sauce Cheese Sauce: (If using, alternatively you can use pre made queso or just melted shredded cheese)1 cup milk 4-6 slices american cheese ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar ½ tsp seasoning blend of choiceInstructionsHeat a large skillet over medium high heat and spray lightly with cooking oil. Once hot, add the ground beef and break it up with a wooden spoon, stirring and smashing until you have it all in one even layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes undisturbed then stir it around and let it start getting brown. Add in the onion and garlic and continue to cook, stirring occasionally until the onions begin to caramelize and the meat is nicely browned, about 6-7 minutes. Add in all the taco seasoning and stir to combine. Cook for about a minute or so then add the water and bring to a simmer, stirring to create a sauce, then remove from the heat and set aside. Cook the french fries according to the package instructions until nice and crispy. Remove to a large plate or platter and top with spoonfuls of taco meat. Drizzle with your favorite taco sauce, spoonfuls of pico de gallo and finally, lots of cheese sauce. Serve immedietly and enjoy!
