Should take about 3 to 5 minutes. Continue to stir the peppercorns and be careful not to over toast, they burn easily. Once peppercorns are toasted, use pepper mill to grind into powder. Alternatively, you can use a teaspoon of freshly ground pepper. Set aside.Season wings with your preferred mixture.Preheat oil to 375 degrees and fry wings until golden, about 10-12 minutes. Be careful not to overcrowd the fryer. Drain on a wire rack once the wings are done.Add butter to a large pan over medium high heat along with the ground toasted peppercorns. Allow the butter to melt then add honey and let simmer for 2-3 minutes to incorporate the flavors. Transfer sauce into a large mixing bowl.Toss the wings in the sauce and let them get lost in the sauce! After they’re fully coated, add zest of 1/2 lemon.
