SPICY SHRIMP PASTA Apr 22 Written By Eleanor Debel PrintSPICY SHRIMP PASTA Yield 3-4Prep time10 MinCook time10 MinTotal time20 Min Ingredients 1 lb linguine or fettuccine 1 lb peeled and deveined shrimp 1 Tbsp seasoning salt or your favorite spice blend 3 Tbsp butter ¼ cup sundried tomatoes, finely chopped 3 garlic cloves, finely minced ½ lemon, juiced ⅓ cup heavy cream ¼ cup chopped parsley or cilantroInstructionsBring a large pot of water to a boil and season with salt. Cook pasta according to package instructions and reserve ¼ cup pasta water. While the pasta cooks, toss the shrimp with olive oil and seasoning blend. Heat a large skillet over medium high and add the shrimp. Sear the shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side, remove the shrimp to a bowl and then return the pan to the heat. Add the butter to the pan, once melted add the chopped sundried tomatoes and garlic, cook, stirring, for 3-4 minutes until the garlic is fragrant. Add the lemon juice and scrape up any browned bits on the pan. Add in the cream and reduce the heat to medium, bring to a simmer, add the pasta, cooked shrimp and pasta water to bring everything together. Remove the pasta from heat, season with salt and pepper and toss with the chopped herbs.
