HEALTHY LEMON PEPPER WINGS Jan 12 Written By Eleanor Debel https://www.youtube.com/shorts/CMD9qJIbN-8PrintHEALTHY LEMON PEPPER WINGS Yield 4Prep time10 MinCook time1 HourTotal time1 H & 10 M Ingredients 2 lbs chicken wings 1 Tbsp lemon pepper seasoning 1 tsp paprika ½ tsp chili powder 1 Tbsp sazon 1 tsp baking powder 1 Tbsp hot sauce ¼ cup cornstarchCooking spray 1 lemon, zested and juiced Lemon pepper seasoning and chopped cilantro for garnish InstructionsPreheat your oven to 400 FPlace the wings into a large mixing bowl and sprinkle with the lemon pepper seasoning, paprika, chili powder, sazon and baking powder. Thoroughly mix so all the wings are coating in the seasoning, then toss with the hot sauce and a light amount of cooking spray until evenly coated. Sprinkle the cornstarch over all the wings and toss to evenly coat. Prepare a baking sheet lined with a wire rack. Spray the rack lightly with cooking oil and place the wings in an even layer onto the tray. Bake the wings for 20 minutes, then remove from the oven and flip over all the wings. Return to the oven for 25-30 minutes more, or until the wings are golden brown and crispy. Turn your oven to broil and place wings into the broiler for 2-3 minutes, just to give them an extra crispy exterior. Remove from the oven and set aside for a couple minutes before serving. Toss the wings with lemon juice, lemon zest, a little sprinkle of extra lemon pepper seasoning and freshly chopped cilantro. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or as it and enjoy!
