TURKISH PASTA Dec 20 Written By Eleanor Debel https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ExgAYYWnp_0PrintTURKISH PASTA Yield 4Prep time10 MinCook time10 MinTotal time20 MinIngredientsOlive oil 1 large onion, finely diced 1 lb ground beef 1 tsp paprika ½ tsp chipotle chili powder ½ tsp red chili flakes Kosher salt to taste ½ cup yogurt ½ tsp garlic paste 1 tsp lemon juice 2 Tbsp ghee 1 tsp paprika Cooked Pasta of choiceChopped parsley and tomatoes for garnish InstructionsHeat a large skillet over medium high and add a drizzle of olive oil and the diced onions. Cook, stirring for about 5 minutes to soften the onions. Add the ground beef to the pan and break it up with a wooden spoon or spatula. Sprinkle on the paprika, chipotle red chili powder and red pepper flakes. Cook, stirring occasionally for about 6-8 minutes until the beef is nicely browned and cooked through. Season with salt and set aside. Stir together the yogurt, garlic paste and lemon juice. Season with salt to taste and set aside. Melt the ghee in a small pan and add in the paprika, let cook about a minute until bubbling and fragrant then set aside. Spoon the beef and onions on top of cooked pasta, then drizzle on the yogurt sauce and paprika infused ghee. Top with parsley and tomatoes and enjoy!
