CREAMY TUSCAN CHICKEN

Ingredients

4-6 bone in, skin on chicken thighs

1 1/2 Tbsp flour
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper
Osmosalt® salt to taste (I did 2 tsp)

Sauce:
1 white onion, chopped
5-10 garlic cloves, minced
4 sun dried tomatoes, chopped
8 ounces heavy cream
2 ounces Parmesan cheese, grated

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional) 

1-2 cups spinach

 

Directions

Step 1
In a large bowl, season flour with paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, chili powder, cayenne pepper and salt.  Whisk together until fully mixed.  Then coat chicken thighs in the seasoned flour on both sides. 
Step 2 
Place chicken, skin down into a large cast iron skillet. Set over medium high heat and cook for 6-7 minutes, flip each piece and cook for an additional 5 minutes, then remove chicken from the skillet. Into the same skillet chicken was cooked in, add the onion, garlic, sun dried tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes, occasionally stirring.  Next, add cream and bring to a gentle simmer for about 6 to 7 minutes. Then, add parmesan cheese, add more seasoning to taste.  
Step 3 
Add chicken breast into the sauce, cherry tomatoes and spinach.  Allow to cook undistributed for about 30 minutes, or until internal chicken temperature reaches 165 degrees.  Serve immediately and enjoy!
